would the alternator and the starter off a 2.5td fit a 200tdi?

as far as i know, yes.

They have the same flywheel, i know that much. You TD alternator may be lower ampage though.

dont know what a tdi amp ouput is tho

disco or def tdi? I know my disco 300 has a much bigger alt, think its like 130 amps or summin silly.
