Yeah I was going to say; it's a very broad subject! You could have it rebored, or you could just de-glaze it and fit new rings, bearings and seals etc. Give us some idea man! (or woman).
this is the first time for me in the forum,
well i am going to strip it down and rebuild it..i am thinking of galavanizing the chassis if its not to bad an fit a new bulkhead, respray etc etc...
i do work with spanners and helped a friend do it but its been a long time now and he is abroad , this is my first total rebuild
chassis seems in good condition except the rear x member but i cannot say anything before i strip the body off!!
willing to begin next summer so i was just trying to maybe have some pics or lists of what is needed for example to have beforehand to swap the bulkhead and so on..
i have already got several manuals i found online and haynes manuals etc collected over the years so any help will do to make it easier
i have already seen busters zone and i would like to tank him for all the pics and also read all post of crowbird about the rebuild he has done on his 200
There isn't a list somewhere of what you wil need. You won't know what you need till you've taken it all to bits and had a look. Not to worry though as parts are very easy to get and pretty cheap too. There's also absolute ****loads of second hand stuf on ebay. Watch out for people selling off their old duff parts that they've just replaced with nice new ones there's some real rubbish about.
