Hi just in the middle of my full rebuild, the power steering pipes were quite crusty but I thought I could make them go again, anyway after shotblasting the steering box I could see them leaking a bit so have to replace them. Simple enough I thought.
I have searched and searched around the Internet for some pipe but struggling like crazy to find some for the 200tdi. Do they still make them?
Tried paddocks and the other usuall 4x4 online dealers.
If I can't get any of Internet I suppose I'll have to call in at the landrover centre and see if they can get any. I know the dealers may have them but I live 10miles from nearest unfortunately .

or use 300TDi pipes.

I thought that but after a bit of research apparently they don't fit my pump
Sorry yes looking at my post it doesn't make it clear, it's a defender 200tdi

thats what i thought ,though low pressure one can be hose clipped so easily made to fit

if you mean the rubber ones with the connectors on from the resoviour i got new ones here...

they also had plenty of odd fittings in imperial and metric

It's the metal pipes that's rotten, the ones that run under the radiator

300 pipes have a different angle at the pump end

I would think it's possible to go to a local hydraulic pipe company and there make some up for you ? That's what I done when I put a 200tdi in mine

Yu sure yu can't use this.....
I know the fittings are the same, just not sure of pump routing?

i have a roll of the correct pipe in the store so could make them up...ill look later at the size..
it is easier to buy and fit tho at 45 quids id be inclined to make em...
got to go feed the animals..
