Well if you did english it might help you better understand the wording of the contract you agreed to for your insurance purposes, as would business studies and law but hey ho. You want to crash and not be covered you keep going, hope you drive into the back of someone and write it off, then you'll have some fun explaining why your engine isn't the one listed on the V5 or their file to the insurance company

Look for an mot failure disco 1. Do it yerself, learn about the motor as you go. Get help and strip the disco down to its guts, weigh that in. Save loads, maybe even break even.

No, its not up to him - if he's planning to drive a mod'ed car without declaring the mod; thereby invalidating his insurance - so when he wipes out a £40k motor - or a bus queue - or a load of school kids - or whatever - the premiums the rest of us pay go up to cover the costs of what the little twerp has done
