Two things to stop it working. Is. Electrics or no water. Does your matrix leak. Footwell wet ? Or. Switch or relay broken. That is it. I really hope it is relay fuse or switch etc Not the fan or matrix radiator. I did mine. Matrix radiator split so dash has to come out. If u do the dash. Do replace the fan etc. cos it took me ten hours to remove the dash and back on. For 10 mins job to swop he matrix radiator
Thanks Taffy, I had the switch out and apart today, cleaned it up etc hoping would be this but not the case. Hot air comes through the vents when driving along just fans are completetely dead, but worked intermittent for last 18 months. Do you know where i cam find the relays?

Yeah as red hat man said. Side footwells. Mine was on passager side. There is about 4 relays there. I think if I remember if relay is knackered it will make click noise. I just feel the relay clicking. U could just test the wires towards the fan. Use volt meter. If fan is knackered. The it is dash removable job !!

The fan is ****ed. There isn't a heater relay on the 200. They are a total bastard to remove and a **** heater fan to make things worse. Oh and they're super expensive last time I looked.
Sorry to disappoint you but I've done mine once and can't be arsed doing it again. Ok ok mine works most of the time but it often has a week of not working.
Dash out and repair the rotten bulkhead/floor pan/A pillars whilst you've got the chance??
