Yeah it could tim, I've already put a spring mount on it and repaired the damper bracket. However, the diff pan is thin and the axle is guaranteed thin in various places.
Also I know that'd I weld a bracket on it won't be quite square
Also I want to get an axle case, prep it to my liking by cutting off various brackets etc and grind it down and paint it, then I can get the scar in the shop and swap it out in one night, get the job done quick
Last resort? Weld the original up!
