Hi all

I have just re-fitted the front half of my bell housing to the engine block. both faces of the bell housing and the block are tight together with the gasket between them but i have go a slight gap of a inch or so down about 2mm wide, between the engine and the bell housing around where the starter motor sits. as the engine and gearbox where both covered in S**t when i took them apart i never noticed the slight gap?
Is this right??
