It's totally standard, are they all so unresponsive, it's not bad, I'm sure that there is no real problem, but it can be frustrating as it never pulls immediately, always takes 2 to 3 seconds to sort itself out and go. I'm sure it's just how the engine management does things, it's not a massive turbo on it, so it shouldn't be lag. Just wondering

Have you considered that it may be your clutch?

Dont sound right. My Td5 has instant response.

It will still be under warranty so take it to dealership & ask them to take a look at it..

could be the potentioneter, ie the accelerator pedal ,some get a damaged area to the brass backing, worth checking out
