I have had a 2006 90 for about 6 months now and one thing that has always seemed a little iffy is the wipers.

I know the whole mech is pretty antiquated but they do work pretty well, except from time to time they clunk really badly. Visually it looks like the wipers stick then jump to the full travel, accompanied by a clunk from the passenger side wheel box (or at least it sounds like).

Is the wheel box / drive really likely to have worn badly on a 3 year old vehicle, or is there some adjustment I can do?

Unbolt the wiper motor, Slide the drive spring all the way out of the sheath, rotate the fecked wheelbox by 120 degrees and then re-assemble. Job done.;)
