Hi,

I found a BMW part of a centre consul under my drivers seat connected to the phone harness the other day.

The part number is 140225-10 ?

My phone in the car dose not work on the screen, is this some kind of blue tooth from a BMW car to retro fitted make it work?


There is a button with a face/speech mark. When you press it is said talk on the dashboard under the clocks?

Any ideas what it is.

The 2002-2005 L322 is a BMW vehicle in disguise....it is basically an X5 in a posh frock.

Any ideas what it dose and how it works.

That was made for the old Nokia brick phones

Don't think it will work with later phones

Think you can get Bluetooth fitted to the old units

Hi all,

Just to update you. Yes it will work with a iphone 4s using Bluetooth.

The BMW x5 part under the seat converts the car to Bluetooth, you can then connect any Bluetooth phone.

Even the phone book appears on the dashboard.

I found this site helpful. when you have fitted the x5 part under the drivers seat.
