Hi all, I have a 2004 vogue and prefer the touch screen setup in the newer rr's, does anyone know if this is possible?

The satnav on my dont take postcodes and is a pain in the arse.

Any help is gratefully appreciated.

I changed my standard cd unit in mine for a Chinese 7" touch screen Unit that is a TV, DVD player, sat nav, reverse camera, bluetooth hands free and more all in one unit !

Only cost £500

I'll post pics later

Only prob I think is that the vogue stereo doubles up as the computer system for everything so you have to leave it in place Otherwise stuff won't work without it. It was a straight swap in my HSE though

hi hippo, thanks for the reply, yeah mine has all the consumption guff on it so wanted to keep this just dont like the sat nav

Maybe land rover do an updated sat nav disk ?

i think the disc only does the maps

Got a copy of a newer sat nav disk on e-bay (hooky copy methinks) for my 2003 Vogue, which takes the first part of a post code and the first number of the second bit, then gives you all the streets in that area to pick from.
much easier than typing the street in. Cost me £17
