The grey plastic connection on the sedimenter cap broke while working on girlfriends Td4 (2004). According to the Land Rover agent here in Iceland, I have to buy the whole sedimenter for about 135 pounds!! I can't seem to find the sedimenter as a used part here in Iceland.
Do you know if the grey plastic thingy can be bought seperately? If not, has anyone replaced the sedimenter with a aftermarket one? Has that resulted in any problems?

I guess that is the fuel filter by the look of things. But I haven't had any dealings with the td4 fuel system etc so I can't help much. I would guess you could get a 2nd hand one from the uk shopped out to you though.
