Hi all, have a 04 l322, battery went flat, now the headunit turns on, tv & nav works, but cant function radio & cd? and the left buttons dont seem to work?

any ideas?

remove fuse to reset.ps do a search you will find it

Fuse 49 I think....and yes remove for 20 minutes or so!

I pretty much took in and out, shall I take out for 20 mins with engine running or off?

Engine and Ignition off....worth a shot.

If you still have issues, check for moisture in the rear L/H cubby of the boot area...

Hi asked if red light was coming on as I had same problem saint sorted it ,it was water ingress in rear panel cleaned connections up bingo I had to dry sat nav unit out though but red light didn't come on until connections were clean my worst was top of amp

The red light is not on, nav and tv works but everything on left the buttons don't work

Have checked for damp in back and seems fine?

Left fuse out for half an hour and put back in and still the same

I trust you have pressed the left hand rotary knob in to turn the radio on....if this still doesn't work, then you have to recheck the rear Left Hand Corner of the boot for loose connections or moisture/corrosion...esp. the DSP amp....

You need to pull and examine carefully all the connectors, any sign of green corrsion and you will have a problem, you may also find pins completely corroded off.

Hi, have had it in with electrician, taken it all apart done tests etc and is not down to water damage, has not got to bottom of it, what else could there be? Thanks

Have got to bottom of it I hope, radio amp has burnt out and the connector harness has burnt too



my part number : bm54l322 xqc500010

And I also need the harness connector and about 6 inches of cable, where is best place to look? Few on ebay but in Romania and places out of UK, also where would I get connector from
