I need to change the front off side wheel bearings on my 2003 90 TD5.

I want to avoid Britpart, so can anyone point me in the direction of a complete (non-britpart) kit as most online companies only seem to be selling the individual wheel bearings or a Britpart Kit.

Thanks.

just buy timken bearings plus a new nut ,kits tend to be pattern bearings ,timken been oe will be exact size so you shouldnt need to worry about changing selectable spacer to ensure bearings are set right, pattern can vary greatly

yes they are stc4382g or rtc3429g the same thing g means genuine on the end of number, new seal ftc4785 and nut rfd100000

..... the book also says you should replace the inboard oil seal too.

I drifted the old one out with the inner race as it came out and it was completely undamaged, cleaned up fine, and went back in with no sign of problems...... Not expensive, but I forgot to get one and wanted to finish the job before the cold weather hit. Good luck, A

Oh, and don't forget a drive flange gasket...... doubt anyone would ever manage to rescue one of them...

i given you new seal number ,a new one would best ,silicone sealant will replace drive member gasket ,dont use a punch to fit new bearings use a proper tool or old bearing with a slot cut in it ,a punch will damage bearing race eventhough you cant see it pushing down and twisting with inner bearing will show high spots caused by the punch

A socket the proper size works also :D
