Do you mean the external trim strip? If so yes it's a bugger. I managed to do mine eventually, but I came close to sticking it on with silicone sealant - that might be the way to go. Or go to your local windscreen repair shop and ask for a quote. They should know as it's part of the screen replacement job (although I might be being optimistic here)the a pillar trim on my disco needs replacing so i bought the new trim but have problems installing it, i can't seem to get the trim onto the fasterners on the front anyone have any tips

Sorry - I know I did it but can't remember how! I wasn't able to get every clip in but it held for a year until the screen went and I had to get it replaced anyway. The man who did the screen got them back on OK, but I think the original problem (they fell off) was down to a previous screen fitter not doing them properly. Everyone does say it's a b***er of a job. You shouldn't need to remove any other trim though.
