I am going to change the ratio in my transfer box to 1.2 to get less road noise and reduce revs also save fuel?
Has anyone got any tips?

sadly my t-box went bang at uni and my disco box was 100miles away so i just stuck in another 1.4 version then fitted some 285 75 tyres later...very pleased with the gearing increase

I have not priced the parts but I would like to replace the ratio gears rather than change the full box as I may be getting another persons problems at least I know my box is ok
Could do with the part numbers and prices

with number i could give you part numbers to make kit cheaper
