Hello folks,

I have bought a 2001 Adventurer and have a query about the interior trim around the gear sticks.

My car has the black rubber mat there but the doors and passenger side dashboard have wood inserts.

My friends ES Premium has wood inserts in the same locations as my car but also has wood around the gear sticks.

Should my car have wood trim around the gear sticks??

Hi Neil, no your car was not fitted as std with the wood trim around the base of the levers, that only comes with the higher spec ES & ES Premium.

However, it is perfectly possible to buy that wooden panel if you so desire and fit it yourself. From memory it is held in place with double-sided tape.

I have seen the panel on one of the Land Rover spares sites.

I think I will get one as it will finish off the interior.
