should i have a difflock light? it defo engaes but no light comes on

every so often when i turn the ignition light off the engine is still runnin and the battery light comes on,its only after a few turns back n forth of the ignition key it will then turn off ,whats the likely cause of this?

Yeah there is def a diff lock light

Diff ock light is in the middle of the dash on a 200 and is Orange. The other issue - faulty ignition barrel/wiring. Another common fault on the ignition is the alternator light glowing but everything is charging nicely. Didnt know about this until Gummy Bear had the problem.
