can anyone help i have got oil leaking out of the front crank breather by the front of the sump on my 200tdi. I have cleaned the breather pipes but it still leakes.

Crankshaft oil seal in the rear timing cover is leaking.

Get it done soon or else the oil will contaminate the cam belt and it may well break.....which won't be good

Pretty much the same as a cam belt job but you will also have to remove the crank sprocket for the cam belt and the replace the oil seak that is behind that.

So basically depends upon what you mean by 'big'

thanks for help just changed seal and belt.
