Alright,

Just a query really, I was under the impression that all V8 P38s had 4 pin rear duff's and 2 front then the diesel's had 2 pin all round, however, just picked up the RR yesterday after a diff change (mine was noisey as hell) and there is a nakkered 2 pin on the deck (the centre mass can be seen and you can see a single pin) and the Indies told me he's put the 4 pin on (as agreed) from a diesel which he says is much stronger.

I honestly thought 4 pins were V8s only? Anyone got picks of each to point out differences so I can check myself?

As far as i know 4.0 and 2.5 diesel have two pin diffs front and rear. 4.6 has four pin at rear. Diesel P38s have never had standard four pin diffs. Planet wheels are not visible on a four pin diff because of the cage covering them. Think your indie is a bit of a fibber.

Hi cheers for the reply, Hmm sounds like it thought was a bit strange, although ive paid for a 4 pin to be fitted so it better be.

Just finished servicing her, new oil, filters, plugs leads etc and now have a misfire but on LPG only.. any ideas before I put the old leads back on?
