Sadly this one's not for keeping. Picked up a Discovery 200TDi last week for £400, 12 months MOT, loads of tax and best of all only 80k on a recon engine. It's already at the garage where my 90 is waiting to have the engine and box transplanted so my 90 will live again!

200Tdi Discos often go for around that most places. Cheap as chips they are if yer look about.

yep cheap as chips,gid £200 for mine,sold sum bits scrapped the rest med £500,an still got the engine ready for the summer trans plant

I looked for a while and they were going for crazy money for what was little more than scrap. This one drives well and is mechanically sound, the body is a mess however. Once the engine and box and power steering are out I'll sell any bits I can on fleabay and weigh the rest in. I weighed in a Metro 2 weeks back and got £120! The price of scrap is through the roof at the moment so I should get around £250 for the Disco, maybe more once I've brimmed the tank with water ;o)

Got 8 months tax to cash in too! This Disco's for free!
