morning all, bearing in mind i,m no electrical expert im going to have a browse at the fusebox to see if i can solve my h/blower problem.i,ve read about a certain white/green earth lead that corrodes?question is when disconnecting the live feed from the battery to the f/box can i get away with not disconnecting the battery leads(i dont have the eka code)the last thing i need is alarms going off, windows opening/closing at their own will:eek:i,ve heard all about these electrical gremlins on the rr.

Get the EKA code before you disconnect anything or you will end up in the deep and murky. You must disconnect the battery before playing with the fuse box.

cheers matey,i,ll pay me local landrover stealer tommorow see what they can do.

But even Irishrover :praise:can't wizz EKA codes out of thin air can he? Or maybe he can with his Faultmate.

i went on a breakdown with irish the other day to re prog a becm, the full fat faultmate that irish has got can do miracles mate.i am sure he can change eka codes but he has to connect to the becm.

"J" was too busy drinking tea, smoking and slagging me off to see what was going on!!!!:tea::smokin::hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi

Yes the EKA can be acceseed, changed or disabled in the becm settings. Can't recover the radio code though...that's a trip to the stealer with the log book (V5)
