hi all had a lot of answers over this problem but still not solved the car has now been standing since december
i have had a guy out from main dealer who connected up to car and said it says no communication to engine ecu any idears on this as he said he had no idear thank if anyone can help

a good sparky would put in a manual switch in to get the vehicle mobile until you sort problem, the ecu is only pulling in a relay going on engine temp. if this has been said sorry didnt see original thread

hi thanks we have thought of putting a seperate switch in but first i opened the relay up and worked it manuely but the light still didnt come on still didnt start and i burnt my finger as the relay went red hot

you can take out your plugs and check them with some jump leads, put earth on main thread and pos on terminal then onto battay, should glow red more or less staight away . all the main feed wires should be isorlated from earth, the tel tall light wont be on the plug circuit it will be off a ecu, dont arse about inside you relay take it out and identify the main power cables, if still stuck start it on easy start or brake cleaner or tow it to a sparky

ok i shot some brake cleaner up it and it started but only on the brake cleaner as still no fuel getting though there is no warning light on and i dont think its emoblized as the red light on the dash goes out when ignition is turned on ive swaped the engine ecu and the glow plug relay but still nothing

not just a glow plug problem then, dont really no the ellec lay out of your vehicle wots fitted etc, you could do with a manual, you need to check realays and fuses for ecu, fuel pump ect sounds like a power loss. may all be controled my a main ecu inside vehicle. there will be a boffin on here who could tell you all about it :blabla:
