R reiny Active Member Feb 13, 2015 #7 Back in the mid 90s when one-shot wasn't available and my series 3's swivels leaked like a sieve I was told to mix ordinary grease with gear oil into a semi solid consistency. Did that for 6 years and never needed to take anything apart.
