Hi guys
I'm looking for a car to buy soon and came across a post on msn about how commercial vehicles are much cheaper to insure, and 4x4s especially Land Rovers. On the comments I saw people saying they were quoted 1600-2500, which is good considering a corsa would be something like 2000+!

The car(s) I have been currently looking at are:

Freelander 1.8gs 2001 1796cc
Most likely the freelander will be my choice..

it is a 4x4 right? lol.

What do you think? any other cars you would recommend (not keen on anything before 2001 to be honest..)

Thanks

:)

can anyone tell me if any 4x4 is considered a commercial vehicle?

Nope discos and Rangies aren't neither is a gaylander unless they are actually commercials. of the defenders and series the County station wagons aka CSW's aren't classed as commercial.

no bud, the square shape is too sharp for my liking, reason I was asking 2001 and after is because the cars are a lot more curved shape

Get a series, cheap insurance, take it off roadin, Bang a few trees and ruts, and hey presto, Rounded body shape :p
