does any one know of an easy way of removing the front cigar lighter socket in the centre console.
The front doesn't work, the rear one does. I haven't checked the fuses yet but knowing my look ill have to get to the wires behind it, is there an easy way to remove it or do I have to take the whole console out.

Pretty certain you'll have to lift the centre console, so check fuse and relay thoroughly!!
Front only works on ignition remember

Right I've found this

fuse f45 is fine and healthy relay re5 must be healthy as it powers both the front and centre sockets and the centre socket is fine. There is a plug and socket under the rear section of the console that is the cable to both of them, does any one have a pin out for this and I'll check to see if I've got 12v to there.

Well I finally got round to sorting this our fuses ok, turned out to be the socket it self, Amazon primed a new one made she it was just a pop in clip one £6.99 job now sorted.

There was just enough room to get to the old one once the gear stick trim was removed.
