just get sum swb series van sides and undo the back bits and use a hi,lift jack to lift yer roof and change the panels over

why make yer life hard tek the sides off one of these Land Rover Series 2 3 88 SWB hard top very good order on eBay (end time 24-Jan-10 19:36:33 GMT) saves fannyin about unless you just wanna plate the sides over an use the roof as a sledge for the kids if it snows

Just done mine using the method Dripper says.....undo back panel bolts top and bottom, Jack up roof, remove panels (replace cappings if they are crap) put Series panels in, drop roof rebolt. Job done....they even have the bolts in to put your seatbelts back in the back.

They're mach 5 steel rims. Zu's are the alloy version.
