hi all, I'm relatively new to the landrover world, i would love a 110 double cab pick up for the practicality of 5 seats and the load space the rear would provide for carting around general crap! but the price tag has me thinking, from what i understand most defender parts are interchangeable within reason, so the theory is get a 110 csw take the roof and sides off and bolt on a 110 double cab roof and rear window, but since have found spare double cabs rare as rocking horse s**t! would a 90 rear window section work or a single cab 110? and buy a brand new roof from landrover themselves?? the roof will probably be thousands from land rover but im yet to enquire! shall i just live with getting a 110csw or a 90 van at the sacrifice of seats or stop wasting my time and save up for a 110 double cab? yours thought please!

Does it need to be a pick-up? How about a csw and put in a bulkhead behind the second row. 5 seats... smaller area to "heat" ....and plenty of load space? Just a thought....

Read on some other forums of people doing it, sounds pretty straight forward, I'm undecided still! I like 90s just not sure if it will have the space I need!
