Only the front axle and steering box to remove and can then start building up on the new chassis.

Don’t forget to chop off the front of the old chassis with the number on it.

That’s some serious rust in weird places
 
Yes, I intend to cut out the section that has the VIN number on it.
What do I tell DVLA.
I have the new chassis number, it is lasered all over and cleverly in some very inaccessible places.....does this replace the SALL............number.

That number is for your use only. Nothing replaces the sall original number off the old chassis.
