becos theres a gap of a good few inches between the top of the chassis at the new join, and the bottom of the tub. At least there is on a 90 perhaps its different for a 110.
but trust me, as long as you have it jacked up to a comfortable working height and take off the rear wheels, you can get good enough access to the top of the rails to weld it cleanly on. mine was done on a ramp which helped, better than crawling around on the floor.
