Thinking of a forward control as a project. Does anyone have experience of these or even have one for sale????
Cheers all

Not sure yet, probably have to be an ambulance as i want to be able to sleep in the back but will make a body if i need to for a GS.

The general service models go for a **** load cheaper than the bodied versions. ive seen GS models for around 2k. there is an expedition ready 101 in the back of this months LRO for around 6k if you want one fully kitted out.

no offence, but a home made body on the back of a GS will probably look ****. spend more $$$ and get an ambulance one

Theres a nice restored forward control ambulance in octobers landrover enthusiast magazine, not for sale though as a feature.

i dont know the numbers, but kevin salter at shrubbery garage, rousden, devon could point you in the direction of one for sale.

also, Hilltop Services (american car specialists) in yarcombe, devon. they occasionally have big stuff like that through, and may know of somewhere you could get one.
