Should think so, can't think of any reasons why not -- apart from the fact that lots and lots of old Disco's are rotboxes! :D

Ah reet now I understand. Yes it's doable and quite common. Defenderdavie is in the process of building himself a disfender

hmm, disfender :D like the sound of that will wait and see how davie gets on.

what no sva and/or 'Q' plate?

Not if its just a body change and the chassis is not cut. (Of course, that will leave you with the rear overhang of the Disco). It would carry the old reg of the Disco (the chassis), not the bodywork on top. IF the chassis-body mounts need altering, which I suspect they'd do, then you will need to go through IVA. SVA is the old scheme and Q plate is used to register a car of unknown build date or otherwise. But you do know it - its the date of the disco (chassis).

hmm interesting, but with the rear over hang it's nearon a 110 :( so what happens if i do trim it down? it's going to have to be cut at some point to fit a fender rear cross member for the rear tub mount's is it not?

Same as any other bobtailed car. I think you're into needing IVA but its all a bit vague. If anyone has a clear link or guideline, from an official source - please let us all know!

you can trim the body down to fit and its still just a body change as no chassis mods been done....except the outriggers needed tidying up.:);)

use a 110 rear tub and trim the front end.
