Hi

Yesterday I tried starting the car and it fired up for a second then it cut out. It had been a cold night and this was in the morning. I tried again and after 4 times with accelerator peddle push it started,

Once the car is warmed up it starts fine and has been fine all summer etc.

Any suggestions?

Its had a new battery last month as well

Thanks for the replies

Ive spoke to a land rover technician and he seems to think an injectors clogged and to put some injector cleaner through the system then see how that goes?

If it's a TdV6, it's direct injection, should start without the glowplugs. If it started and cut out I'd look at the fuel pump or as Wammers said the ECU temperature sensor.

One blocked injector would not stop it starting unless the electronics are smart enough to detect it and as it ran fine once started I think you can discount that suggestion.
