Its bolted near the back of the engine on the inlet side wher the fifth glow plug would have gone. A bit awkward to reach but its not the hardest job in the world.
Disconnect the fuel hoses, unclip the fuel pressure sesor harness, undo the mounting bolts (from memory I think its three) and off it comes.
Fit the new one in reverse order with a new gasket. Purge the fuel system and away you go. No special tools needed just keep everything clean.

Its not my Defender (90), but my sisters....she's been told the fuel-pressure regulator is leaking & needs replacing...
Is this an easy job?...where is it located?...any hints/tips??

did the wifes td5 disco pretty straight forward long reach spanners came in handy my mate gave me a hand and lined the gasket up from underneath while i put the put the bolts back in if you missalign it the gasket crushes in the wrong place and stuffs it.
Also if you can buy from landrover do so, my mate put a britpart on his only lasted a month then started leaking
