If that RR V8 is just out of your price range you might fancy this. A Td5 90 restored by my local independent.

£90k :eek:

But it is a nut and bolt restoration and upgrade.

£65k buys you a four year old one with no bling just factory spec.

The one for £65K realistic price £40k as it is low miles and virtually new and they don't make them anymore.

The £90K realistic price is about the same as it is an older vehicle to start even though it has been rebuilt to as new and they don't make them anymore.

In all honesty they are only worth what someone is willing to pay, certainly not me, not on a car but there are folk out there that have high disposable incomes or can put it on the company.

I was thinking 40K-45K for the Mastora one. Way above my league though :D As you say, there are people who don't see that as a lot of money. :eek:

I think you're right, but as long as you can find willing yuppies with more money than sense or these so called "investors" who buy cars to sell for profit you'll keep getting paid.

We all have our own beliefs Brian, that's for sure and without a doubt this fella is a chancer who will find a mug who'll pay simply because there really are people out there who earn obscene amounts of money.

Given a choice the 90K one as it looks nicer and has a better engine

So long as we keep calling eachother up in heaps to AG, we can be mates when we discuss Land Rovers. That's OK by me.

I'm easy going honest, outside of AG I mind my manners, it's only right that I am more understanding in the vehicle forums as there is always a chance that someone knows more than me :D

AG I can speak my mind on contentious topics, I find the forum is great in respects to letting freedom of speech rule supreme in there but ensuring ethics are maintained elsewhere, I often find that there are some who try to hold their AG grudges wherever they go, no point, we all came here through a like minded hobby and so long as we can all remain civil towards each other regardless of our wider views then we can all come together to help each other in our common ground. :)
