If one had 2 grand or less to spare then would one be better buying a Disco or RR ?

Some sheds that look the part about I know so which to go for then.:)
 
£2k should also get you a fairly well sorted Classic too, probably with a V8 though. That's the question, can you afford to run TWO V8s? :D
 
Got to be tdi, two V8s definately out:)

Although I'm putting a 300 tdi in the 110 after xmas so then there were none :D

Been looking at Discos on fleabay and they look very nice but how rusty are they ??
 
For £2k I could buy four of the disco I've got in my avatar! But if you only want one it'll leave you with £1500 for fuel/beer/christmas or anything else you want to spend it on.
 
my mate just picked up a Nreg 300tdi disco. very tidy and good runner, just needed boot floor doing. was only 300 squid
 
Looks like a Disco then seein as 'Gemsdad' wont sell me his Rangie for next to nowt.:D
Where are all these 500 quid Discos then ??? I've trawled fleabay and cant find anything cheap other than for off road only or spares or repair:rolleyes:

There's a bloke near me got a red one....what do you think. It's a tdi on I think an M reg and it's three doors , not sure about the reg might be older. He was asking me the other day what I thought it was worth as he was goin to sell.
Got a week or two to look anyway.:)

I'll have it if it's tidy , no rust, tdi , 12 months test, and 500 quid. Me 2k budget has been clipped a bit as her indoors wants a new iron etc for christmas. Got er a washing up bowl set last year, never satisfied are they.:D
