Does anyone know if EGR removal will improve fuel eco on a TD5, just looking at options, i did an EGR on my deisel mondeo and got better performance but no real fuel benefit.

It'll be about the same mpg, but smother running.

However, if your Disco has a catt in the downpipe, replacing this with a de-catt version will improve your mpg. Cost on average £65 for the pipe plus 30mins to do.

No it's not. Diesel vehicles only have to pass a smoke test and they pass that as well if not better with the cat removed.

Excellent so will try a de cat pipe as well then anything that improves it would be great have now orded the egr removal kit.
