need some info please
ive pulled the dash off radio out heater out !!

no signs of a spyder unit anywhere its a 97 disco any ideas where to look now

On the underside of the radio bracket there should be unit with just black wires going to it cylindrical if memory serves!

98 D1's dont have a spider and I believe that the 97's don't either.

97 should have one LR claim that they phased them out in 98 WA chassis onwards but like all things LR seems they've got that wrong as well.

aparently my 300 tdi lr didnt fit the spyder they put an immobiliser directly onto the fuel pump its called DDS what ever that means !!!
so not a straight forward bypass plug afterall ........ or its a new remote which has to be re - programmed ........
going to take a trip upto the main stealers tomorrow to see what they suggest of an altrnative solution

It's a different pump solenoid so you can't just take another live feed to the pump to by-pass it.
