Hi new to the site and just bought a land rover discovery, it cut out today and will not even try and turn over. The speedo and rev counter stopped working the other day and the fuel gauge started showing completely full. can anyone help?

need to get on the daignostics for that, sounds like a bcu fault or wiring. hope it don,t cost much

hi guys sorry for the lack of info it is a 1995 2.5 tdi, turns out it had ran out of diesel Doh. However the speedo, rev counter, temp gauge are not working and the fuel gauge is showing full does anyone have any idea what this could be?

That was the other half that said it wouldn't turn over she had flattened the battery

knowing the issue was lack of fuel makes this post quite funny

well to me anyways

It is quite funny considering the missus said it wasn't turning over however I still have the speedo fault does anyone have any idea what could be causing this???

just checking , batteriers fully charged, fuel tank is fully brimmed
and the windscreen washer bottle is full


if all above are correct, turn ignition key to number II click stand on one leg and jump up and down 10 times!!!

if done correctly someone will feel sorry for you and will fix your dash problems

As helpfull as this last post sounds I think I may have jumped up and down 11 times but to no avail please someone give me some pointers in the right direction
