Hi guys, will these wheels fit my p38? They are for fitting winter tyres onto.

mine will be forsale next week as i'm getting my new ones on friday. they are free style wheels with general grabber Tr tyres 235 70 16

yes it was - I bought them already, but thought I'd check. The seller ( breakers yard) says they will fit..

that style of alloy is on both the classic and the p38 so would not be able to know from looking at the pic.

What is the difference which stops them from fitting?

the PCD, p38 wheels arent compatibel with classic hubs, diffnet nut spacing etc.If the wheels fit on then theyll be fine.

If they fit, what tyre size do I need? the wheel are 16" and the ones on the car now are 18"

Assuming you had 255/55x18's originally, to maintain the same diameter you'll need 255/65x16's

Although both very very similar, there are slight differences between the two. I'm pretty sure the ones in the pic are the P38 version.

If you look at the area around the base of the spokes the P38 ones are more radiused into the rims.
