recovery points are almost essentialback to the mind of offroading, what equipment do I need to get. The essentials and the luxury things.
I plan to go greenlaning (once every week or two), and would be cool to get out and about on an offroad course which will not be a frequent thing as they cost big bucks?. But, early days as yet.
Cheapest n simplest. But i had a HD bumper on me 110 with a recovery point on.Tough as fook.Would get that again if i had a depender.Lots of options out there.as in jate rings etc? they look as if you simply unbolt the eye rings and pop jates in. front and back yeah?
I plan to go greenlaning usually alone,
Well ive used em, but also had a steering guard with recovery points.was looking through the fred, and saw they recomended, tree strops, shackles and snatch blocks. I assume the tree strops, are used to wrap around tree and then attach winch end to? But what are the snatch blocks and shackles for? I plan to go greenlaning usually alone, mostly and about once every week or two. But I guess doesn't matter how often you go out.

Steering gaurds protect the, er ,steering.are the snatch blocks a good investment then? Which ones, as they show a couple on this site.
Also, is the steering guard the thing the also protects the axel?
Shackles, sound very important then![]()
just buy summit like the tmaxx recovery bag kityeah I think your right about the course. So get some tree straps(how many?) , snatch block (any you would rec? and how many) , shackles and a good tow rope, 12 tonn, 8 meters nylon rope yeah. anything els? steering guard sounds like a good investment. they look cool also![]()
