Sorry cant do any picks at moment lost camera over christmas,i was only using a 3/4 breaker bar so there must have been some sort of fault in the bolt because im not that strong. Its broke off flush with the end of the crank so i cant even weld anything to it the only thing i can think of doing drill and tap a bolt into it and lightly heat it, will heat damage the crank though? It shouldnt have much tension in it now because the pressure has been released with the head coming off.

The knurled cam, at the bottom, is attached to the square socket at the top.
The device is fitted over the appropriate stud, using the smallest hole possible.
A ratchet drive is inserted into the square hole and rotated anti- clockwise.
This rotates the cam, so that it grips the shaft of the stud.
Further attempts to rotate the ratchet drive increase the gripping pressure on the stud, until the stud starts to rotate.
Carry on rotating to remove said stud.
It wont work on the above problem tho.

Why not just drill it for the biggest lh threaded bolt extractor you can fit in there.
I wouldnt rely on thread lock, it wouldnt be too bad if it was a lh thread tho.
Otherwise its crank removal and spark erosion.

Get a set of stud extractors like these or similar Stud Extractor Set 8 Pc - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys. As you have the crank out pre-soak the end with WD40 or diesel. Drill the remaining bolt and fit an extractor, torque load the extractor and heat the end of the crank evenly all round.
Dont be tempted to drill the bolt too Large to fit a bigger extractor as his makes the wall thin and the taper extractor will spread the remaining bolt and make it grip tighter.
There are other options but they do require reasonable workshop facilities.

Makes yer bits smell better though
If it's flush with the crank, put a heavy washer with quite a small hole over it, then plough the welder through the hole, the heat won't hurt the crank .
