We pick up our Freelander 1.8 Hardback on Thursday .
I'm soooooo excited i'm counting down the hours.

Its on a 52 plate ,in metallic blue very nice ,immaculate condition.

Very excited ,my hubby cannot understand why,anything I need to check out before the warrenty runs out ?

Good stuff...I'm not overly knowledged on Freelander's as a whole, Howardo is the learn'ed disciple!

You'll find most of the info you need in the freelander section. Things to worry about are;
worn drive-train usually due to a worn VCU
and
head gasket failure which is common on 1.8 K-series petrol Freelanders.

Things to expect are;
electric windows to fail,
tailgate rubber seal to leak, check for water in the cubby box,
ABS issues (the 3 amigos)
and
coolant leaks.
Very important that you check the coolant level before you use the vehicle each time.
Oh yes and never fit new tyres to the front only because you will break it.
