i've seen a few tray backs and want to do it to mine, what should i look out for whilst undertaking, please post pics and ideas

thought of that, the whole back end will be cut off (seats still in) and if wanting to ride in them seats, a rope will be attached to the cut of back end (placed on skateboards) and passengers will be DRAGGED around

now to be half serious *(for a guy about to cut up £3000 worth of metal) what i know is cut back off, trim chassis just behind crossmember, leaving room for tubes to be added for jates before blanking off the chassis, make a firewall behind drivers seat but halfway along rear door, giving me some room, mount fuel tank behind that wall on the outside, and some metal frame around the chassis, mount lights, DONE??????????

if you think too hard you'll change your mind,
do it in the spare of the moment
just make sure you get it right

i saw one in lro where someone had used part of the back door as the fire wall
and it looked good,
gives loads more articulation so you could put on a bigger lift and huge tyres
now that would look good!

You'll find it a lot easier to start with a 3 door.

The cabin that you will need behind the front seats is easier to make it you don't have the rear doors to worry about.

If you what you have is really worth £3000 I'd sell it and start over with an early 3-door. You'll be cutting out most of the rust when you do the tray back.
