Hi everyone, i have a 4.6 p38 and i am loosing water it only started when i started using the heater for warmth i have checked eveywhere for leaks { head gaskets, rad, footwells for wetness etc} but cannot find any iam just wondering if i have a porous block how much water loss would i see in the header tank and what are any other signs .

if your block is porous it will be overheating and throwing water out of the hether tank

or filling oil up with water!!!

i reckon if you look round the water pump you will find the leak, or chuck a tub of kseal in or check coolant bottle cap is very tight!

That K seal really works!

it does till ya drain the system to fill with fresh antifreeze, then it lets go and floods out!!, trick is to use more k seal!!!
