Anyone here fitted door cards to there series 3 at all? Homemade or bought? Any pics would be loverly.
I'm considering some in mine to rest my elbow on.
Anyone know if these are any good at all?

I will be fitting some La Salle door cards to mine in a couple of months time. These are good quality products and are not that expensive either.

On my doors I have a sheet of aluminium rivited on and covered in carpet. Very tasty in beige to match the roof lining! You could of course just visit a scrap yard and bolt on some plastic arm rests from another car if you wanted arm rests. I have a cubby box which acts as a nice left arm rest and my window sill does the job for the right arm

Fair enough, might just do that with the aly and some rot proof carpet, I could make arm rests from a bit of wood with carpet and sponge.
Good plan me!!!

It looks pretty much as you would expect a peice of aluminium with a peice of carpet glued to it tbh!

I went for the half door configuration option with the facility for a door pocket. I find this particularly useful. In other words I couldn't be bothered to do the whole door. There are of course many other configurations available.

Oh and matching carpet which stops those annoying condensation drips to the head. Looks quite fetching I think...
