hi i am new to all this but i dont know if you are aware of the oil change offer national tyres are doing. went there today after booking oil change online. disco td5 castrol magnatec fully synthetic oil and filter change £25.20. £28 in depot 10% off if you book online. i couldn't buy the oil and filter for that.

So you don't work there then?

How many oil filters did they change? what was the oil rating they used?

no dont work there i am a fireman. 5w 30 oil.

sounds good until you suss out that they have only done half the job. What about the other oil filter?

i changed the rotor filter when i got it home. i thought this was a good offer as the oil would have been £50 if i bought it plus the filter, and then doing the job.

heard of offer through a mate who had is car done there, when i checked the site you put in your reg and it tells you the correct oil plus the cost. site does say oil upto 7 litres an additional charge might be applied for more than 7 litres. when i spoke to my depot they said they wouldn't charge for .2 of a litre.

It's a better price than most garages.
