Hi,

My engine conversion project, 2.5TD to 200tdi, has come to a stand still at the moment, due to the fact that the airbox to turbo pipe I have is knackered.

Does anyone have one they don't need or a suggestion of where to get one, or even an alternative to the original TD pipe?

I'll give it a try, but previous experience of local hydraulic suppliers has not been successful. They tend to back away muttering when told you want some thing to attach to a Landy engine.

look up CAF - cold air feed pipe on ebay - has a metal spiral wrap in it

tis 40 or 42 mm - and if you keep the TD filter in the orginal location you will need exactly a meter of it

I got one of these for my swap to sort the air problem (didn't search for long and mine cost £32 so shop around - ****inell look what he's askin!!)

Cheers, that looks just the job.
Is it best to go for the high temp stuff or will the standard neoprene hose take the temperature?

And, is it 2" pipe? (its a bit dark and cold now to go crawling around the engine bay with a tape measure )

Torch and tape measure has revealed;

The old TD turbo is a 2" connection, the 200tdi is 2 3/8" or 60cm

I hope you meant 60mm. 60cm is 2 foot.:doh:

Mind you a 60cm bore turbo, I think I've found a new project. :crazy:
