ah yes 100/80 would doDunno about the Freelander, but a mate with a Disco changed his to the higher wattage, 100/80 I think, and burnt his wiring out, next to the bulb holder.
I'd think that the ones that claim 25% greater etc, from a similar wattage output, should be OK.
anyone upgraded there front headlight bulbs from standard ones to these different ones you see on the market nowdays xeon bulbs,clear ,blue tint and so on would be interested if they made any difference thanks
yea i seenI used to run my Rav4 with the Ring Xenon 60% brighter bulbs & they were superb. The wattage is the same as standard bulbs, but with the introduction of the xenon gas, apparently the filament can run hotter which gives a whiter light as well. Although not as bright as HID kits, I would well recommend them & will get round to fitting some myself soon. There are no disadvantages to running these & they are totally legal.
