hi every body, im a newbie to the zone and the owning of any thing this slow.so my goal is to make my defender as go as fast as i can.im not too worried about its off road ability . i retired from the raf so need something to keep my brain active and this is what i do , im a solo version of scrap heap challenge but with a bigger budget.im used to flying jets so to jump into a lr was a real eye opener. i thought the mahindra jeep was slow but my defender beats that for slowness.

yes its thick enough, the skin i mean, i used to get the mickey taken out of me by the chaps in the workshops who kept our jets in order, so bring it on boys.
